New DC/DC Point of Load converter

and HERO distributed power system

A new DC/DC converter from VPT type of DVPL0503S has been launched recently. It is suitable for realization of distributed power solution to satisfy the unique requirements of military, avionics and space applications. This step-down non-isolated Point of Load (POL) converter produces an output voltage, which is possible to set in range from 0.8V to 3.4V with output current up to 3A by change of an external resistor value. The new converter broadens the existing assortment of POL converters type of  DVPL0505S and DVPL0510S with output current 5A and 10A. Now another new POL converter type of  DVPL0520S with output current 20A has been launched. These POL converters create together with isolated 50W converter of DVHE series a new High Effeciency, Reliability Optimized (HERO) distributed power system. Combination of isolated high power DC/DC converter with a set of small-size point-of-load converters brings more power with higher efficiency in less space and at lower cost.
